FAQ

Common questions.

Is this free?

Yes. Drift Fantasy is free to play. No entry fees, no paywalls for core gameplay.

Can I win money?

No. There are no cash prizes or prize pools. This is a free-to-play fantasy game, not a gambling product.

What is DMGP?

Drift Masters Grand Prix — the European professional drift championship. Drift Fantasy follows the season as a fantasy game for drift fans.

When does the season start?

The 2026 DMGP season runs across 7 events. Check the leaderboard for the schedule. Pick your team before the next event locks.

How does scoring work?

Points come from qualifying position and bracket wins, with a penalty for DNF. Your ace scores 2× points. Full breakdown on the Rules page.

How does the ace work?

Each event, one of your 5 drivers is your ace and scores 2× points. The catch: each driver can be your ace only once all season, so pick the round where you think they'll go furthest.

Where do the results come from?

Results are entered manually after each event from the public DMGP results. You'll see updated scores within hours of an event ending.

Can I change my team during the season?

Every event you build a fresh 5-driver lineup. Nothing carries over from the previous round, so swap as many drivers as you like before the next event locks. No transfer limits, no point penalties.

How do private leagues work?

Anyone signed in can create a league. Share the 8-character invite code with friends — they can join from the Leagues page. League leaderboards show only your members.

Can I share my team?

Yes. From your team page, hit Share to get a public link. Pasting it into Discord, X, or similar will preview a card with your lineup.

Why are there no driver photos?

Driver photo copyrights typically belong to the photographer, not the driver. To stay clean on rights, we use text and flags instead.
